For parents: Provide a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate before the First Penance retreat. Not necessary if your child was baptized at St. Mary Magdalene, St. Agnes, or St. Aloysius. 
 
For Parents and First Communicants to complete together: Identify someone you would like to be your prayer partner. Ask this person to pray for you as you prepare for your First Penance and First Communion. 
 
Know the 5 basic prayers: Sign of the Cross, Lord's Prayer, Hail Mary, Glory Prayer, Act of Contrition.
