The Stations of the Cross, also known as The Way of the Cross, are an act of devotion dating back to early Christianity, following the path of Jesus from His trial in front of Pilate to His burial in the tomb. Along the way, reflections and prayers are offered at key points in the story, focusing on the different aspects of Christ’s suffering, and asking us to mourn our sins. While the Stations can be prayed at any time, they are particularly appropriate for Lent. Join us on Fridays during Lent to experience The Way of the Cross – 3:00 p.m. at St. Aloysius and 7:00 p.m. at SMM (bilingual).
