Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
-James 5:14-15
The Sacrament of Healing, known as the Anointing of the Sick is available to any Catholic who is ill, home bound, hospitalized, or is preparing for medical procedure.
We offer Anointing of the Sick after the Divine Mercy Mass on Saturday mornings at St. Aloysius. The Diocese also offers quarterly Healing Masses at the Cathedral; watch the bulletin for the announcement.
Our priests will also anoint persons requesting the Sacrament at any time. Come up after Masses or reach out to us to schedule a time.
